Counties: Nakuru, Narok, Bomet, Kericho, Baringo and Samburu
South Rift Region
NCCK South Rift Region is cognizant of the need for social transformation in the region. Over many years, the political patronage has withheld the region’s residents' potential of growth and development in all sectors. The council is empowering the community voice to demand equity in the distribution of resources, a progressive political landscape, a positive impact of a thriving and sustainable economy, demographic dividend, and transformative cultural change. The council is seeking to strengthen the capacity of the church leaders and communities in the advocacy of a transparent and accountable governance system that holds public officials and institutions responsible for their actions and decisions. Openness in decision-making processes and public participation will be encouraged to build trust between the government and the citizens.
