NCCK and World Vision To Strengthen Partnership
The NCCK and World Vision International have committed to strengthen their partnership and collaboration to promote the wellbeing of vulnerable children, families and communities.
The affirmation was made during a consultative meeting between Ms Pauline Okumu, Interim National Director of WVI Kenya, and NCCK officials represented by Rev Dr Alphonse Kanga and Rev George Mutembei.
The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen the partnership between NCCK and World Vision Kenya, with discussions focusing on the strategic role of church and faith-based partnerships in advancing child well-being, child protection, advocacy, peacebuilding, social cohesion and sustainable community development.
Also present in the meeting were representatives from Evangelical Alliance of Kenya, Inter Religious Council of Kenya, and Christ is the Answer Ministries.
