NCCK-driven conservation agriculture is making over 7,000 households in food secure
Silas Rugia, a differently abled farmer, says that Learning and practicing Conservation Agriculture has restored his farm to the original state and made his family food secure. This is after he integrated mulching, agroforestry and animal husbandry to the benefit of his family.
NCCK in partnership with the Canadian Food Grains Bank and the United Church of Canada trains and equips farmers, and supports then to form producer groups for aggregation and common marketing.
