Established in 1913, the National Council of Churches of Kenya (NCCK) is a faith-based umbrella organization committed to holistic community development, environmental conservation, and the promotion of human dignity. Through its Nature Positive Project, NCCK supports ecosystem restoration in drylands such as Kitui County.
As part of ongoing efforts in Athi Ward, Kitui South, NCCK invites proposals from qualified individuals, groups, or organizations to undertake the following assignments:
1. Construction of Sand Dams
NCCK is seeking skilled artisans or artisan groups certified by the National Construction Authority (NCA) to undertake the construction of sand dams at identified sites within Athi Ward, Kitui South.

2. Supply and Delivery of Shade Nets
NCCK invites qualified suppliers to supply and deliver UV-stabilized knitted shade nets to 48 beneficiary sites, including:
- 20 community nursery groups
- 28 schools
The shade nets must meet specifications that enhance seedling growth and survival under dryland conditions.

3. Consultancy for Tree Tagging
NCCK is seeking individual consultants or consulting organizations to carry out a short-term consultancy for the tree tagging of at least 60 indigenous and medicinal trees at the Mutomo Botanical Garden, located in the Mutomo Hills Plant Sanctuary, Kitui County.
