Youths Gather for the NCCK National Youth Convening 2025
More than 160 young people from across the country have gathered at Jumuia Conference and Beach Resort, Kanamai, for the NCCK National Youth Convening 2025.
The annual convening provides opportunity for young people to analyze systemic marginalization and exclusion they face in society and develop actionable mitigations.
The 2025 Convening which is themed on Faith, Governance and Tech, is providing a safe space for the youth to network, fellowship and counter negative narratives.
“When youth are mobilized and activated, they bring a proactive spirit that transforms society and creates a foundation for hope for the future”, Reverend Canon Chris Kinyanjui, the General Secretary, observed during the opening ceremony.
The three day convening will climax with an Ecumenical Service and a county-wide advocacy plan.
